Welcome to the Library of Shivsamartha Education Institute, Talmavale, which serves as an essential academic resource supporting the teaching, learning, and research activities of the institute. The library provides a wide collection of textbooks, reference books, journals, magazines, and digital resources related to management, computer applications, and other programs offered by the college. It offers a peaceful and student-friendly environment that encourages reading, self-study, and knowledge enhancement, with special focus on supporting students from rural and semi-urban backgrounds. Library Rules and Regulations
General Rules
- Get your library account number / borrow card from the librarian on your first day.
- Enter your name in the register whenever you visit.
- You can borrow 2 books for 1 week (renewal depends on availability).
- Report lost ID or card immediately (duplicate charges apply).
- Reference books and journals are for in-library use only.
- Fine of Rs. 2 per day for late return.
- Do not damage books or materials.
- Show ID card when asked.
- Mobile phones are not allowed.
- Discuss issues with librarian.
- Lost books must be replaced or paid.
- Cards are not transferable.
- Maintain silence.
- Return books at semester end.
Library Rules and Regulations

Book Bank
- Book Bank facility is available to registered students each semester by paying a deposit and 15% of the total cost of the book set.
- Books must be returned after exams; late returns will incur a fine.
Reference Section
- Includes dictionaries and competitive exam books.
- For in-library use only.
Journal Section
- Journals arranged department-wise.
- Old issues stored in drawers.
- Bound volumes are for reference only.
